Ahh what a help learning can be...

So I have been a busy little night owl lately. Hasn't helped that my job had shifted my regular hours somewhat and it really threw me off. As if working third shift wasn't already bad enough. However, in my spare time, I have been doing a lot of social networking for my craft business and looking around at what I consider the master artists of my craft. Recently purchased Joan Babcock's micro-macrame book for patterns and to learn cavandoli macrame. Some truly beautiful geometric designs. This has been both awe-inspiring and an excellent tool to help me focus and really hone my skills.

I've had the joy of using new materials, like the joy that is C-Lon Cord. Between the crazy big color selection available and the texture of the cord sliding between my fingers... well, it is just a pleasure to weave with. I'm looking forward to collecting more colors than I currently have (red, black, white, navy, and teal).

This weekend I finished a bracelet and earring set. The bracelet is here. The earrings are still photo-less for now  :)

  1. Glad to see someone doing macrame jewelry. It was all the rage a few years back. Nice work! :-)

  2. That's just gorgeous! I LOVE the color; it's so soothing and reminds me of the warm, tropical sea. Beautiful. :)
